PE Teacher - Secondary School (KS3 & KS4)

The Role We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join the school from September 2026 on a maternity cover basis through to July 2027. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality PE lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring participation, confidence, and a lifelong interest in physical activity. You will be part of a supportive and well-established PE department that values inclusive practice and high standards. Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum
* Inspire students to take part in a wide range of physical activities and sports
* Assess, monitor, and support student progress through effective feedback
* Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
* Contribute to extracurricular sport and wider school activities
* Uphold the school's values of respect, resilience, and personal achievement Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Degree in Physical Education or a related subject
* Experience teaching PE across KS3 and KS4
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the curriculum
* Effective behaviour management and communication skills
