Senior Sales & Business Development Manager, Doncaster

£45,000 per annum + Commission
Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm – Flexible working available

Are you an experienced sales leader who thrives on developing new business, managing key accounts, and leading successful teams?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing business who is looking for a commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead sales activity across the UK and international markets.

We’re looking for a hands-on sales professional with a proven background in product sales who can generate new business alongside coaching and leading others. We’re looking for someone who can lead from the front, build strong customer relationships, and bring experience managing both UK and international accounts.

The Role of Senior Sales & Business Development Manager:

• Take ownership of developing new business opportunities across the UK and international markets, identifying areas for growth.
• Build relationships with customers, distributors and key stakeholders, becoming a trusted point of contact for the business.
• Lead, support and develop the sales team, providing guidance, motivation and direction to help them achieve individual and team targets.
• Act as the face of the sales team, working closely with customers and colleagues to drive commercial success.
• Monitor sales performance, KPIs and market activity, using data and insight to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work with internal Marketing and Product Development teams to support product launches, campaigns and business growth.
• Attend customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events to promote the business.
• Travel within the UK and internationally when required to support customers, distributors and business development activities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a product-based B2B sales environment and experience leading and managing a sales team.
• Proven success in business development and account growth.
• Experience managing key customer relationships across UK and international markets.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring and developing sales teams.
• Experience working towards and delivering sales targets and KPIs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, wholesale, distribution or a related product-based sector.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional international travel.
