Our client is currently seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Economics Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Norfolk as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Economics across KS4 and KS5, helping students develop a strong understanding of economic principles and their application to contemporary issues.

The Role

The successful Economics Teacher will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging Economics lessons across KS4 and KS5.

• Using contemporary economic developments to bring the curriculum to life.

• Developing students' ability to analyse data, evaluate policies and construct arguments.

• Preparing students thoroughly for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

• Planning differentiated lessons to support a range of abilities.

• Monitoring progress and implementing targeted interventions.

• Providing constructive feedback to improve examination technique and written responses.

• Contributing to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.

• Encouraging students to develop independent research and critical-thinking skills.

Experience and Qualifications

• Economics Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5.

• Strong knowledge of the Economics curriculum.

• Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as PGCE.

• GCSE and A-Level teaching experience would be advantageous.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Excellent classroom management.

• Legal ability to work within the UK.
