Reporting to the Senior Policy Manager, the Senior Policy Officer will lead cross-organisational initiatives to ensure operational standards remain robust and fit for purpose.
Key responsibilities include:- Managing multiple policy initiatives from start to finish, including the review of existing organisational standards and supporting guidance.
- Conducting thorough desk-based research and data analysis to drive evidence-based decisions.
- Drafting high-quality briefings, consultation responses, position papers, and analysis reports for senior committees and external bodies.
- Facilitating workshops, focus groups, and forums-both in-person and virtually-to ensure diverse stakeholder perspectives are captured.
- Collaborating across organisational boundaries, including maintaining close joint-working initiatives with regulatory counterparts in Northern Ireland.
- Ensuring all policy development aligns with risk management, data protection, and equality and diversity frameworks.
