Science Teacher - Shropshire - January 2026
A Good rated 11–18 comprehensive school in Shropshire is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its strong STEM faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent role teaching across KS3–KS4, with potential to teach A-Level depending on specialism and experience.
The Science department is thriving and well-resourced, located in a purpose-built block of fully equipped laboratories with modern apparatus, fume cupboards and data-logging technology. A team of experienced technicians provides excellent support, allowing teachers to focus on delivering creative, high-impact lessons.
The Role
- Deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- Contribute to curriculum innovation and practical project development.
- Participate in Science Week, STEM clubs and partnership initiatives.
- Inspire students to pursue scientific study beyond school.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS or equivalent and has strong subject knowledge in Science.
- Committed to practical, hands-on learning and experimentation.
- Skilled in differentiating teaching to meet varied abilities.
- Positive, reflective and collaborative in approach.
