Senior Events Executive

An established professional services firm is seeking an experienced Senior Events Executive to join its Business Development team. This role is responsible for planning and delivering a varied programme of high-quality client events, including conferences, seminars, networking events, corporate hospitality and virtual events.

Working closely with Business Development colleagues and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will ensure events are strategically aligned, professionally executed and deliver an outstanding attendee experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver in-person, virtual and hybrid events from brief through to post-event evaluation.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define event objectives and ensure successful delivery.
• Manage event invitations, registrations and attendee communications using CRM and email marketing platforms.
• Coordinate venues, suppliers, AV and event technology providers.
• Deliver online events using virtual event platforms, ensuring a seamless delegate experience.
• Maintain event records, schedules and reporting within CRM and other business systems.
• Prepare event materials including attendee lists, name badges and exhibition collateral.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, venues and external suppliers.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to an Events Assistant.
• Champion best practice in attendee experience across the events programme.

About You

• Proven experience delivering large-scale client events across in-person, virtual and hybrid formats.
• Previous experience within a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems (InterAction or similar), email marketing platforms (Vuture or similar) and CMS platforms.
• Confident using Microsoft Teams and other virtual event technologies.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and highly detail-oriented with a collaborative approach.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings to support event delivery.
