We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to become an integral part of our team at Wetherby Manor, a luxurious care home with a 17-bed Nursing wing committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents.

This is an hourly paid position at £24.20 per hour. Any overtime will be compensated at the same rate

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care based on thorough assessments of residents' needs.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet personal, emotional, spiritual, and social care requirements.
• Manage medication and clinical equipment in adherence to company policies.
• Coordinate with residents' GPs and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop comprehensive care plans in consultation with residents and their families.
• Provide supervision to junior staff members and assess the effectiveness of care delivered.
• Maintain effective communication with all parties involved in resident care.
• Uphold the rights, choices, dignity, and equality of each resident, employing a person-centered approach.

Requirements:

• Hold a first-level nurse qualification with an up-to-date PIN.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a role involving the care of the elderly.
• Supervisory experience is desirable.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrate empathy towards residents along with effective leadership skills.
• Flexibility regarding working hours.
