We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join us and make a real impact by leading and managing our Business Support Services Personal Assistant team, in our Bristol, Birmingham or Leeds office.
The Business Support Services Department are the organisational hub of the firm, providing excellent administrative support to our lawyers.
The role
This role will involve leading a national team of Personal Assistants to the Health and Care: Resolution and Regulatory department across our offices in Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and London.
You will also build excellent relationships with our lawyers, with the aim of delivering an outstanding administrative support service to the firm.
This is a hybrid role. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.15pm.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the day to day running of the PA team that support our Health & Care lawyers
- Build relationships with our lawyers to understand the work and proactively prioritise tasks
- Encourage an excellent customer service environment, ensuring that our processes reflect this
- Coach and develop your team, including performance reviews, setting objectives and regular one to ones
- Recruit and train new and existing team members
- Work closely with the Business Support Services Manager, Operations Manager, and our HR team, to develop policies and procedures which cover operational processes, compliance, performance and attendance
- Identify opportunities for improvement, to ensure we operate efficiently and in line with best practice
- Play an active role in supporting business change taking place across the firm, and participate in relevant projects
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained
- Have a working knowledge of health and safety requirements

Our core business hours are 9am - 5:15pm Monday to Friday, but we're open to our people working more flexibly around those times and welcome a conversation with you if you have any questions about this.
