Director of Educational Technology (EdTech)

Temporary, Full-time

Position: Director of Educational Technology (EdTech)

Start: August 2027

King’s College International School Bangkok wishes to appoint an exceptional, visionary, and well-qualified Director of Educational Technology (EdTech) to provide strategic leadership for the school's digital transformation. We hold high ambitions for every student. Engage, Inspire and Extend is our core educational philosophy, and through it we develop the qualities we value most: wisdom, leadership, problem solving and kindness.

We are looking for an educational leader first and a technical strategist second: a catalyst for innovation, a steward of responsible technology use, and a champion for a vibrant, future-ready digital culture across our whole school community.

The successful candidate will shape and deliver a forward-thinking whole-school digital and innovation strategy that elevates pedagogy, strengthens student outcomes, and embeds AI and digital fluency. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, academic leaders, and IT support, the Director will champion a culture of curiosity and purposeful technology adoption, ensuring digital tools enhance enquiry, creativity, collaboration, and personalized learning rather than serving as a mere novelty.

As the school’s strategic lead for AI in education, you will establish ethical frameworks, build digital literacy, and lead comprehensive professional learning that empowers staff confidence and operational efficiency. Crucially, you will also act as the technical and policy lead for digital safeguarding, online safety, and filtering and monitoring compliance in line with the highest British educational standards.

Every teacher and leader at King’s is also an integral part of the school's pastoral care system, and we see this as central to the role rather than an addition to it. Strong partnerships between school and home make a real difference to students' wellbeing, digital citizenship, and overall progress. The Director of EdTech will build warm, professional relationships with students, staff, and parents, combining care with high expectations and guiding our community through an evolving digital landscape.

If you are a proven EdTech leader and skilled educator who wants to keep developing, thrives in a collaborative environment, and holds high ambitions for every student, we would like to hear from you.
