As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: - Provide personalised 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual learning needs
- Support pupils with communication strategies, sensory needs, and emotional regulation
- Use a calm, patient, and positive approach to manage behaviour effectively
- Work alongside the class teacher to maintain a structured and inclusive classroom
- Implement and follow Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) accurately
- Encourage independence, life skills, and active engagement in learning To be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you should: - Have recent experience working with children or young people with additional needs (school or care setting)
- Demonstrate a patient, flexible, and nurturing approach
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Be able to meet GSL's safer recruitment requirements
- Hold an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one GSL Education offers: - Competitive daily rates of pay
