We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Service Assistant to provide essential support to our operations and customer experience team within a fast-paced business environment. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on customer communication, problem-solving, administrative support, and maintaining excellent service standards.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day customer interactions, handling enquiries efficiently, maintaining accurate records, and supporting wider business operations to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
What youll do
Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a professional and timely manner
Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and company policies
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience
Maintain and update customer records, databases, and CRM systems
Assist with order processing, tracking, and follow-up communication
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently
Monitor and manage the customer service inbox, escalating complex queries where appropriate
Support onboarding of new customers and assist with account setup processes
Prepare customer service reports and maintain service-related documentation
Assist with scheduling, administrative tasks, and operational support where required
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling customer and company information
Support wider business initiatives and customer experience projects as needed
Provide ad hoc administrative assistance to other departments when necessary
Who you are
Previous experience in customer service, administration, retail, or support roles is desirable but not essential
Career-driven and looking for long-term progression opportunities
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach
Able to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
