Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive and engaging Chemistry lessons to students at various levels
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student participation
• Foster a passion for Chemistry through innovative teaching methods and resources
• Conduct practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance students' understanding of chemical concepts
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic development
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum plans
• Provide guidance and support to students, nurturing their personal and academic growth
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Chemistry curriculum

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Chemistry, preferably in a secondary school setting
• Passionate about Chemistry and dedicated to inspiring students
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices
