Maintenance Team Leader

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with leadership experience? Looking for an opportunity to take ownership, develop a team, and drive engineering performance within a busy manufacturing environment and work on a Days shift, Monday to Friday?

We are recruiting for an Engineering Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of a maintenance function, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and leading a team of engineers to deliver outstanding results.

The Role:

• Lead, coach and support a team of maintenance engineers.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and planned maintenance schedules.
• Provide hands-on support with breakdowns, fault finding and repairs.
• Drive improvements in reliability, downtime reduction and asset performance.
• Manage engineering spares, contractors and supplier relationships.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects.
• Monitor and improve key KPIs including MTTR and MTBF.
• Work closely with production and operational teams to maintain performance.

About You

• Engineering maintenance experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory, team leader or management experience.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Confident communicator with the ability to motivate and develop others.
• Engineering qualification essential. (Electrical or Mechanical)
• Experience using CMMS systems would be advantageous.
