Your role:

Interested in working in finance, specifically in investment banking, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Industrial Placement Program within our Global Banking business.

You’ll get to:

• evaluate companies and develop models for M&A transactions
• prepare industry analyses for pitches
• get involved in the execution of live deals

Your team:

You’ll be working in our Global Banking team in London. We’re responsible for providing coverage, advisory, capital markets and financing solutions for corporate, financial institutions and sponsor clients.

Your expertise:

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• needs to complete an Industrial Placement program as part of your studies, and then graduating in 2029
• is on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in your first undergraduate / bachelor degree
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency

We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. We welcome all majors, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry. We want to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to our team. Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or stepped out of your comfort zone to learn about a subject you found challenging? Let us know how your achievements match the skills we’re after.

Your program:

This placement will last 12 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
