About the role

Connex Education are supporting a mainstream Secondary school in north Sheffield in appointing a History specialist Teacher for a September start on a full time basis. 

The school is based in northern Sheffield and are a safe, ambitious and inclusive community school where pupils are empowered to achieve excellence in learning and in life. Through high expectations, strong support and a culture of mutual trust and respect, they foster confident communicators, independent thinkers, responsible individuals and morally grounded young people who are always kind.

The role is on a full time basis 5 days per week for the first term until Christmas. 

Assignment details

The role is full time for the first half term initially but likely to extend to Christmas and potentially beyond. You will be required to undertake the full responsibilities and timetable of a full time teacher.

Person Specification

• Have experience of working in a classroom environment or similar setting
• Have a History specialism
• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
• Have QTS
