Senior Care Professional (Female Driver)

£32,000 per annum + On-Call Payments (OTE £34,000)

Full Time | 40 Hours per Week

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Senior Care Professional to join our growing domiciliary care team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding care while supporting, mentoring and developing other carers within the service.

This is a varied role that combines delivering high-quality care to clients with supporting the wider care team through spot checks, competency assessments, supervisions, shadowing and quality monitoring.

As the service continues to grow, the proportion of direct care calls will gradually reduce, allowing you to spend more time supporting the development of the team and maintaining exceptional care standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care within clients' own homes

• Complete spot checks and quality assurance visits

• Carry out competency assessments and observations

• Support new carers through shadow shifts and inductions

• Conduct regular touchpoints and supervisions

• Provide coaching and guidance to the care team

• Ensure care plans and company policies are followed

• Promote safeguarding, dignity and best practice

• Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Working Pattern

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across a two-week rolling rota.

You'll work:

• Five shifts per week

• Eight paid hours per shift

• 30-minute unpaid lunch break

• Alternate weekends

• Two rest days each week

Shift pattern alternates weekly:

Week One

• Early Shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm

Week Two

• Late Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm

During your early-shift week, you'll also provide overnight emergency on-call cover from 10:30pm to 6:30am on the nights immediately before your scheduled shifts. No overnight on-call is required during your late-shift week.

While on duty, you'll be expected to remain within the local operating area to respond promptly if required.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within domiciliary care

• Experience working as a Senior Carer, Field Care Supervisor or similar role is desirable

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle

• Confident leading, mentoring and supporting other care professionals

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Excellent understanding of safeguarding and CQC standards

• Passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care

• Reliable, professional and proactive approach
