...Then Star Actuarial is currently representing the ideal role for you in which you will have the chance to shape the future of public sector pensions.
Joining an individual and highly impactful organisation, you will gain access to responsibilities beyond traditional actuarial boundaries due to the public sector nature of the work.
Key projects include producing the year-end provisioning estimates (akin to reserving in the private sector) and supporting the client on features of the known claims book.
You might also be involved in quantifying the impacts of emerging trends and changes to the risk pool or supporting client analysis, model development and/or system improvements.
With demonstrable end-to-end project delivery skills, the successful candidate will have a high level of agility in order to adapt to the changing demands of your client base.
Excellent communication, client and relationship management skills are similarly essential, as well as a collaborative approach and influencing abilities.
