Job description

To ensure the provision of effective and efficient commercial contract management and governance within the Facilities and Accommodation Department and to support the Workspace Services Manager in delivering Departmental objectives. To contribute to the provision of a modern, professional and responsive Facilities and Accommodation service to support NIHE business delivery and our vision and values.

Responsibilities

• To support the Workspace Services Manager in delivering an effective and efficient Workspace Services function ensuring a professional, proactive, customer orientated, and high-quality service etc.
• To support the Workspace Services Manager in the management of contracts to ensure delivery of value for money supplies and services and achievement of key performance indicators.
• To support the Workspace Services Manager in developing & embedding sustainable practice within the Departments supplies and services contracts.
• To support the Workspace Services Manager in delivering supplies and services to the estate on time and in full.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Possess a degree or equivalent level qualification (Level 6) in a facilities management or property management discipline (or equivalent related subject) and can demonstrate 2 years relevant experience OR
• Exceptionally, can demonstrate 5 years' relevant experience in managing facilities and commercial property contracts.
