About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Stores Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining a safe, organised, and accurate warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unload deliveries.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer and internal orders.
- Organise and maintain stock within the warehouse.
- Carry out stock counts and assist with inventory control.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided where required).
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Report damaged or missing stock to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse or stores experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills are an advantage.
- Forklift licence is beneficial but not required.
