**PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY** There is an exciting opportunity to join the Pre-Op Team within Liverpool Women's department. We are currently recruiting for a Pre-Op Assessment Practitioner:
Assess patients, plan and implement care providing specialist advice and maintaining appropriate records. Carry out specialist nursing procedures, i.e. clinical examination, recording and interpreting ECG's. Act as a resource person to others, providing advice and support to the MDT, patients and relatives. Function at experienced practitioner level, able to make effective decisions. Facilitate the education of registered and non registered staff. Assist in the management of the department to ensure excellence in patient care and to have responsibility for staff and service development.Develop the clinical protocols and SOPs. Contribute to an effective, motivated and competent workforce and ensure that high quality standards are maintained and developed. Contribute to the development of performance review in accordance with Trust policy. Be receptive to change with the Department and encourage new ideas and developments. Demonstrate people management skills, delegation, negotiation and assertiveness as appropriate. About us
