About the role Are you a great communicator who is passionate about bringing people together to improve the lives of children, young people and their families? If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Strong engagement with schools and the wider community is a key driver of better outcomes for children, young people and their families, shaping their health, wellbeing and future aspirations. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of Community Connectors, working across schools, voluntary and community organisations, and key services such as health and housing to design and deliver initiatives that make a real difference in local communities. You will provide direction and support to ensure a consistent, high-quality approach to community engagement, strengthening partnerships and driving improved outcomes. Central to the role is ensuring that children, young people and families have a voice in shaping what is delivered. You will oversee how services communicate what is available locally, bring partners together to improve engagement, and ensure families are connected to the right activities, support and opportunities. Through your leadership, services will be better aligned and families better supported to access help at the right time. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service. We will also carry out an online internet search for information that is publicly available online that might suggest that you are not fit to work with children or young people. “Due to recent changes in UKVI rules, this role does not meet the criteria for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under the updated eligibility requirements effective 22 July 2025.” We want you to apply if you :

- Have a qualification in an appropriate discipline and/ or experience in a similar role.
- Level 2 English (Grade C GCSE or equivalent)
- Level 2 mathematics (Grade C GCSE or equivalent)
