SEN Support Assistant

Pay Scale: £90.00 – £105.00 per day
Are you a caring and motivated SEN Support Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity within education?
Do you have experience working with children with additional learning needs or SEN?
A welcoming and inclusive school in Reading is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. In this role, the successful candidate will support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs.
This SEN Support Assistant role will involve:
• Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support
• Assisting pupils with classroom learning and activities
• Supporting students with communication and social development
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
• ASAP start available
The ideal SEN Support Assistant will be patient, resilient, and passionate about helping children succeed academically and emotionally. Previous experience working within education, care, or SEN support is highly desirable.
