Product Development Administrator

£22.2 - £25.8 per hourEstimated
Full-time

At Burberry, we believe creativity opens spaces. Our purpose is to unlock the power of imagination to push boundaries and open new possibilities for our people, our customers and our communities. This is the core belief that has guided Burberry since it was founded in 1856 and is central to how we operate as a company today.

We aim to provide an environment for creative minds from different backgrounds to thrive, bringing a wide range of skills and experiences to everything we do. As a purposeful, values-driven brand, we are committed to being a force for good in the world as well, creating the next generation of sustainable luxury for customers, driving industry change and championing our communities.

Burberry is looking for a talented Product Development Administrator to support Burberry’s Product Development team, ensuring key administrative, financial and logistics processes run with accuracy and care.

Based in London, the Product Development Administrator will play an important part in helping goods move through the development cycle on time, while supporting timely vendor payments and clear budget visibility. Working closely with Product Development, Finance, Trade Compliance and wider cross-functional teams, you will help keep seasonal activity organised, informed and aligned to business priorities.

Responsibilities of the Product Development Administrator:

  • Raise purchase orders for raw materials, components and shipments, ensuring information is accurate and vendors are paid on time.
  • Coordinate national and international shipments to and from Florence, working with couriers, vendors and internal teams.
  • Partner with Trade Compliance to prepare and manage the documentation required for import and export activity.
  • Maintain packing lists, sample order trackers and seasonal reports to support visibility across Design, Merchandising and Product Development.
  • Track shipment and Product Development budgets, allocating costs accurately and preparing clear analysis for Finance and leadership teams.
  • Monitor development activity, including mould costs, delivery progress and seasonal investment, providing updates that support key collection moments.

What Burberry is looking for:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with a careful eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Confident working with purchase orders, budgets, invoices or cost tracking in a product-led environment.
  • Able to build effective working relationships with internal teams, vendors, couriers and finance partners.
  • Clear and proactive communicator, comfortable managing multiple priorities and sharing timely updates.
  • Collaborative, dependable and solutions-focused, with an interest in supporting the development of luxury products.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP, Ariba or similar systems is a plus.

Burberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.
