Assistant Accountant | Hybrid Working | Study Support | Central London
A growing investment management business is seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountan t to join its finance team in a permanent role. Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manage r, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their accounting experience across transactional finance, month-end reporting, reconciliations, VAT and audit support
Key Responsibilities
- Processing payment runs and staff expenses
- Managing debtor and creditor ledgers
- Bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Supporting month-end and quarter-end processes
- Preparing VAT returns and fund recharges
- Assisting with year-end audits
About You
- Previous experience in an accounting role
- Studying towards an accounting qualification
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using Excel and finance systems
- Proactive, adaptable and eager to develop your career
