With the Matron, Infection Prevention and Control Specialist Nurses, TB Specialist Nurse, Consultant Microbiologists and Operational Director of Infection prevention and Control, ensure that prevention, monitoring, investigation and control of healthcare associated infection is embedded within all activities of the Trust. Under the direction of the Specialist Infection Prevention and Control Nurses provide clinical advice on all matters relating to infection prevention and control. Under the direction of the Specialist TB nurse provide and undertake TB service delivery, including follow up in the community, screening, contact tracing and providing advice and support to patients and families.
