THE ROLE:
Supporting both contentious and non-contentious construction lawyers, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing the team's knowledge resources, with a particular focus on non-contentious construction precedents, including JCT and NEC contracts and consultant appointments.
You will monitor legal and regulatory developments, prepare technical updates and guidance, deliver internal training, support client publications and seminars, and help drive innovation through the effective use of legal technology and AI. You will also contribute to the development of automated documents, provide technical research support, and play a key role in ensuring best practice across the department.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years' PQE and strong experience in non-contentious Construction & Engineering law. You will possess excellent drafting skills, a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with precedents and technical legal materials.
Previous experience as a Professional Support Lawyer or in a Knowledge Management role would be advantageous but is not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction fee earner looking to transition into a knowledge-focused position. Experience of legal technology, AI tools and/or the Building Safety Act 2022 would also be beneficial.
The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with a collaborative approach and a genuine passion for supporting colleagues and driving technical excellence.
