KPI Recruiting are on the look our for a Production Operative for our client based in Nantwich.
As a Production Operative your working hours and days are:
* Monday- Friday
* Monday- Thursday 08:00- 17:00
* Friday 08:00- 15:55 The rate of pay as a Production Operative is: * £12.71 p/h Key Responsibilities as a Production Operative: * Manufacture bespoke timber pallets, wire-bound containers, and export cases to customer specifications.
* Interpret and work from CAD designs and technical drawings.
* Operate woodworking machinery, including saws, safely and efficiently.
* Use air-powered nail guns and a variety of handheld tools to assemble wooden cases and crates.
* Carry out manual assembly of bespoke timber packaging products.
* Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
* Follow all health and safety procedures within the manufacturing environment.
* Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe. Essential Requirements as a Production Operative: * Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to the rural location and lack of public transport).
* Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or woodworking environment is desirable.
* Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
* Ability to read and follow technical drawings or willingness to learn.
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team. What We're Looking For in a Production Operative: * Reliable and punctual.
* Willingness to learn new skills and operate machinery safely.
* Good work ethic and a proactive approach.
