WE ARE HIRING – Specifications Technologist

Gressingham Foods is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Specifications Technologist to join our Technical Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading speciality poultry producers, supplying major UK retailers with high-quality poultry products.

Hours:
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm

Salary:
✔ £29,000 per year during probation
✔ £31,440 per year after successful completion of probation

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Producing and updating product specifications
✅ Supporting customer specification systems
✅ Reviewing specifications for accuracy and compliance
✅ Supporting factory trials and product launches
✅ Completing internal audits
✅ Working closely with Technical and Product Development teams
✅ Maintaining accurate technical documentation

What We’re Looking For:
✔ Experience with customer specification systems
✔ Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
✔ Knowledge of HACCP & Food Safety principles
✔ Good communication and teamwork skills
✔ GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent)
