£27.5-30k + performance-based commission

Location: Hove, East Sussex.

Our client is preparing to launch a brand-new gym in the heart of Hove, part of a major international fitness franchise, and they're looking for an enthusiastic, commercially minded Membership Sales Advisor to lead the pre-sales campaign and help build a thriving fitness community from day one.

This is a rare chance to join a club before it even opens its doors. You'll be out in the local community introducing the brand, building relationships with prospective members and helping shape the culture of the club from the ground up, before becoming one of its key ambassadors once the doors open. It's a role for someone who loves the buzz of a launch, thrives on targets and genuinely enjoys bringing people together.

On offer is a competitive salary plus performance-based commission, the chance to build a membership community from scratch, and a clear path to take on increasing responsibility as the club grows.

Working pattern: Full-time, with flexibility to work some evenings and weekends to meet prospective members, particularly during the pre-opening campaign.

Key responsibilities:

• Pre-sales campaign: Build awareness of the new club, generate high-quality leads and convert prospects into sales ahead of opening.

• Outreach and engagement: Connect with prospective members through face-to-face conversations, phone and email, local partnerships and community engagement.

• Consultations and tours: Conduct membership consultations, club tours and inductions, sharing feedback with the wider team.

• Marketing support: Support digital advertising and social media campaigns to drive awareness and leads.

• Member relationships: Build strong relationships with prospective and existing members to support engagement and retention.

• Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the CRM.

• Club standards: Support the General Manager in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming club environment.

About you:

• Sales background: A proven track record of success in sales, fundraising or another target-driven environment.

• Communicator: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and develop relationships.

• Driven: The drive to meet and exceed personal and team targets, with resilience and a positive attitude when things don't go to plan.

• Organised: Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.

• Team player: A collaborative, team-focused approach with high personal standards and a strong work ethic.

• Passionate: A genuine passion for fitness, health and helping people lead active lives.

A Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential.
