* Provide professional supervision, appraisal, and development support to social workers and support staff.
* Ensure delivery of statutory duties in accordance with the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
* Lead on safeguarding enquiries, ensuring risk is managed and appropriate protection plans are in place.
* Promote high standards of practice, quality assurance, and continuous service improvement through audit and performance monitoring. Person Specification Qualifications: * Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work (BA / MA / DipSW / CQSW).
* Registered with Social Work England. Registration and Compliance: * Strong knowledge of Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding frameworks.
* Understanding of CQC standards and local authority statutory responsibilities.
* Awareness of Equality Act 2010 and Human Rights Act principles in practice. Experience: * Significant post-qualification experience in adult social care, ideally within mental health services.
* Experience supporting or supervising social workers and handling complex safeguarding cases.
* Proven experience working within a local authority or integrated community mental health team.
