Engineering & Projects Manager

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary technical team to deliver engineering excellence and successful project execution, while driving innovation through R&D initiatives.

• Provide technical leadership to engineers, project managers, and project engineers;
• Ensure resource planning for both technical and project execution teams in collaboration with Operations;
• Champion continuous improvement and technical governance across all projects.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering and project teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards;
• Oversee technical input for bids and project execution;
• Drive R&D projects to support innovation and future growth;
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, technical risk management, and quality assurance;
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve technical challenges and maintain strong relationships;
• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and technical documentation.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore or complex engineering systems (mooring background ideal);
• Proven track record in technical leadership roles managing multidisciplinary teams.

Skills & Knowledge

• Decisive and action-oriented, with ability to streamline decision-making and maintain focus on priorities;
• Strong communication skills: able to explain decisions clearly and engage stakeholders at all levels;
• Excellent organizational, reporting, and presentation skills;
• Ability to operate effectively within a large corporate structure.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
