Service Co-ordinator / Call Planner

Location: Chadderton, Oldham
Salary: 25,934 per annum
Contract: 2 Permanent positions

We are currently recruiting for three Service Co-ordinator / Call Planner opportunities with a well-established organisation based in Chadderton, Oldham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused professional with experience in service coordination, scheduling, administration, facilities management, field service, logistics or a similar environment.

You'll be joining a busy Service Desk team where you'll play a key role in coordinating service requests, planning engineer workloads and ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timescales and service levels.

As a Service Co-ordinator / Call Planner , you will be responsible for efficiently managing and coordinating service jobs from initial request through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, processing and accurately logging incoming service requests.

• Planning and prioritising jobs in line with SLAs and customer requirements.

• Coordinating engineers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.

• Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and remedial works.

• Monitoring outstanding and incomplete jobs and ensuring they are progressed appropriately.

• Handling customer portal calls and providing accurate ETAs.

• Managing escalations and completing follow-up communications.

• Identifying jobs approaching or exceeding agreed service thresholds.

• Coordinating return visits and two-person jobs.

• Maintaining accurate records and associated documentation.

• Supporting the wider Service Desk team and providing cover for other Service Co-ordinators when required.

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and confident working in a busy, high-volume environment .

You may have previous experience as a:

• Service Co-ordinator

• Call Planner

• Scheduling Co-ordinator

• Service Desk Administrator

• Facilities Co-ordinator

• Field Service Co-ordinator

• Planner / Scheduler

• Logistics Co-ordinator

• Customer Service Administrator

Experience within a service, facilities, engineering, maintenance or field-based environment would be particularly advantageous.

You'll need to be comfortable:

• Managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Communicating confidently with customers, engineers and contractors.

• Working accurately when dealing with a high volume of calls and service requests.

• Planning and prioritising workloads effectively.

• Monitoring outstanding work and proactively chasing progress.

• Handling customer queries and escalations professionally.

• Working as part of a collaborative team.
