Job Title: Primary Care Practice Nurse – Thurnscoe
Location: Thurnscoe
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £32,000 – £44,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
An opportunity has become available for a Primary Care Practice Nurse in Thurnscoe . The practice is forward thinking, well organised and puts patient care and staff wellbeing first.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage long term condition reviews to QOF standards.
- Undertake treatment room duties including dressings, injections and ECGs.
- Support the practice immunisation programme.
- Provide contraception and sexual health advice within competence.
- Work with the wider team to deliver safe, effective care.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Primary care or treatment room experience
- Confident with cytology, immunisations and long term condition reviews
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
