HGV Class 1 / C+E Driver Hartlepool
Temporary ongoing position We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join their operation in Hartlepool. The Role: As an HGV Class 1 C+E Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of products on behalf of our client and their customers. Your duties will include:
Temporary ongoing position We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join their operation in Hartlepool. The Role: As an HGV Class 1 C+E Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of products on behalf of our client and their customers. Your duties will include:
- Completing deliveries and collections to customer premises and other company locations.
- Carrying out general HGV driving duties in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
- Using electronic proof of delivery (POD) systems and other transport technology.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of the vehicle where required.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
- Complying with drivers' hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
- A full UK C+E licence .
- Held Class 1 licence for at least 1 year.
- Excellent driving skills and a professional approach.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
- No previous disqualifications, including DD, TT, DR, CD or IN offences.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD regulations.
