SEND Teacher – Year 7
ASD | ADHD | SEMH | Non-Verbal PupilsBrand New Specialist School We are delighted to be recruiting a passionate and nurturing SEND Teacher to join a brand new Year 7–only specialist provision supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and non-verbal needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a school from the very beginning — helping to shape its culture, routines and vision, while making a genuine difference to young people at a crucial transition stage. The Role: Teaching small Year 7 classes only Supporting pupils with complex SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and non-verbal communication needs Creating a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment Working closely with a highly supportive multidisciplinary team The School: Brand new provision with a clear, child-centred ethos Very welcoming and inclusive environment Lovely, supportive staff team who genuinely care Amazing grounds offering space, calm and opportunities for outdoor learning Strong leadership with a real focus on staff wellbeing Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential Experience working with SEND (school, PRU or specialist provision experience welcomed) A patient, compassionate and resilient approach A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm Excellent work-life balance If you’re an enthusiastic SEND Teacher looking for a fresh start in a beautiful new setting — where you’ll be valued, supported and inspired — we would love to hear from you.
