Your role:

As a Global Relay Senior Python Software Developer engineer you will be part of a small team of developers designing, developing and maintaining scripts for publishing demo data into Global Relays production environment and demo environments which are used by our sales teams to demonstrate the capabilities of Global Relay’s services to its clients.  Your contribution will have an immediate impact of enabling efficient delivery of world leading software to our customers.  The role involves cross-team collaboration; you will be working closely with members of your own team as well as other development teams and key stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of software.

Your responsibilities:

• Work as part of an agile development team to write Shell and Python scripts to automate the injection of demo data into production systems for Sales team to use to demonstrate Global Relay services to potential clients
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project success.
• Script and automate tasks using Shell Scripting/Python.
• Scripting conversions across multiple platform.
• Full Scripting Automation services
• Develop tools and utilities to enhance system administration.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing PowerShell scripts.

About you:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Shell scripting (PowerShell, C shell, Bash, Linux scripting)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python development
• Knowledge of Windows Server Operations/Service Accounts/Task Scheduling
• Experience writing python to access and use REST APIs
• Experience using and understanding JSON data structures
• Experience writing and debugging Python code
• API Call using multiple platforms (Windows/Linux)
• Code version/release management
• Experience with EML standard email message format
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git
• Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of automation workflows
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Exceptional communicational
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLabCI, CircleCI, TravisCI

Employees are required to attend the office 4 days per week in accordance with Global Relay’s hybrid working policy.
