Facilities Manager - Independent School in Oxford
A prestigious and well-established independent school in Oxford is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and organised Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance and long-term development of its impressive school estate. Job Overview
As the Facilities Manager, you will take full responsibility for ensuring the buildings, grounds, equipment and infrastructure of the school are safe, secure and maintained to an exceptional standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading the premises team and coordinating daily site operations
• Managing planned and reactive maintenance across the campus
• Overseeing health & safety compliance, risk assessments and statutory inspections
• Managing and monitoring contractors, service providers and project works
• Ensuring security, access control, fire safety systems and emergency procedures are robust
• Supporting school events, lettings and logistical planning
• Contributing to long-term development plans and improvement projects in partnership with senior leadership
