⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break; 35 hours per week)
Salary: £27,000–£30,000 per annum

We are looking for an organised and reliable Administrative Assistant to join a school in Manchester, providing day-to-day support across the school office.

The successful candidate will have previous school administration experience and be confident using both SIMS and Arbor . This is an important requirement, as the role involves maintaining accurate pupil records and supporting the smooth running of school administration.

️ Key Responsibilities

• Updating pupil records and maintaining accurate school information.

• Using SIMS and Arbor to manage and retrieve data.

• Supporting attendance administration and responding to routine queries.

• Handling emails, telephone calls and general office enquiries.

• Preparing documents, maintaining records and completing data entry.

• Providing administrative support to staff and the wider school team.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in school administration.

• Experience using both SIMS and Arbor – essential .

• Strong IT skills and good attention to detail.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• A friendly, professional and flexible approach.

• The ability to work effectively in a busy school office.
