A distinguished independent school has a rare vacancy in their English department.
The English department at a renowned school is looking for an experienced English teacher.
Job Overview
Our client is recruiting for an English Teacher starting in January. The school is a co-educational school with an excellent rapport. The English Teacher is expected to teach English from KS3 to KS5 to the high-achieving and well-behaved student body.
The School
The school fosters excellence in both academic results and extracurricular activities, while simultaneously promoting staff well-being. The school looks after their staff, providing them with many benefits including ‘ME days’ for special events, free flu vaccinations, free eye tests, as well as regularly providing breakfast and lunch.
The English department goes above and beyond to create an innovative educational experience for its students. The English department often hosts guest speakers who will bring a forward-thinking perspective to challenging topics. The English Teachers also host trips both domestically and internationally, which creates an interactive learning environment.
English Teacher Experience and Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in English
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
- Legal ability to work within the UK
- Excellent organisational, communication and IT skills
- Excellent English subject knowledge
