Senior / Project Manager - Oncology (Europe)

Senior/Project Manager role at a global CRO focused on leading Phase I-IV oncology clinical trials across Europe. Oversee project delivery from start-up through closeout, managing cross-functional teams, budgets, and stakeholder relationships to ensure studies meet quality, regulatory, and timeline standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Phase I-IV clinical trials from study start-up through closeout across all project phases
• Direct cross-functional project teams and coordinate internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• Develop, maintain, and adapt project plans, timelines, and resource strategies to support study success
• Manage project budgets and financial performance aligned with contractual commitments and business goals
• Serve as primary client contact, building relationships and driving customer satisfaction

Requirements

• University or college degree in Life Sciences or allied health profession; equivalent education and experience considered
• Minimum 5 years clinical pharmaceutical industry experience with proven oncology project management background
• Demonstrated ability leading multidisciplinary, cross-functional project teams in clinical research
• Strong knowledge of project management principles including time, cost, quality, and risk management
• Solid financial acumen with experience developing and managing project budgets
• Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and international regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in English, written and verbal; fluency in local office language also required
