Are you compassionate and looking for a rewarding role?
We're seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support a young man with Autism & Epilepsy. You'll become part of a friendly & professional Team and help someone live their best life in a beautiful flat in central York (car parking space available whilst on shifts or rail/bus services close by).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily living support & companionship - developing trust through good listening skills
- Promote independence & well-being - accompanying on outings to the theatre, cinema, bowling, shopping
- Supporting the client to cook & eat well (some shared meals) and to keep his lovely flat clean & comfy (PA has own bedroom & bathroom)
About You:
- Passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities
- Calm, confident, and empathetic demeanour
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- Valid DBS check & references required
