Year 1 Teacher - Tottenham | Full-Time Maternity Cover | Start Date: ASAP

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Tottenham is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their KS1 team on a full-time maternity cover basis starting as soon as possible.

The Role

As the Year 1 Teacher, you will:
- Take full responsibility for a Year 1 class
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Monitor and assess pupil progress to support attainment and development
- Create a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and senior leaders

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have previous experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 1
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be organised, reliable, and passionate about primary education
- Have the ability to inspire and motivate young learners
