Pay rate: £12.71 per hour (over 21s)
Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 30 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends)
Shift times: Between 0700 and 2130

We’re looking for a Retail/Catering Assistant to work at Thiepval Barrack s. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of our retail unit, making sure customers have a great experience every time they visit. every time they visit.

What you’ll do
- Serve customers and process payments accurately
- Keep shelves stocked and displays looking great
- Receive deliveries and manage stock levels
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy workspace
- Food preparation and barista duties
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Support with opening and closing the retail unit
What we’re looking for
- You’ve lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work here
- Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
- Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful, but not essential – we’ll provide full training
- Comfortable working as part of a team and occasionally on your own
