Geography Teacher – Lead Global Fieldwork and Academic Journal Publication – Hackney
A prestigious Independent School in Hackney is seeking an exceptional Geography Teacher to lead the development of international fieldwork and academic publishing from January 2026.
- Geography Teacher required from January 2026.
- Hackney London-based independent school with a commitment to academic exploration.
- Seeking a specialist to lead international academic fieldwork and supervise the school's academic journal.
You will teach Geography up to A-Level, emphasizing rigorous source analysis, advanced quantitative skills, and securing places for students at top Russell Group universities for Geography and Earth Sciences.
Experience and Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Geography is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to teach Geography with outstanding academic rigour to A-Level and Oxbridge standard.
- Experience in organizing and leading international academic fieldwork trips .
- Commitment to running the school's student academic journal publication.
