Spire Bristol | Bank Pharmacist | Competitive hourly rates | Part time - Flexible Working Spire Bristol Hospital is looking for an experienced and motivated Bank Pharmacist to join our hardworking Pharmacy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care within a leading private hospital. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll help ensure patients receive the right medicines at the right time, support clinical decision-making, and contribute to excellent patient outcomes across the hospital. Our pharmacists are not solely pharmacy based so you will have the opportunity to interact with patients across various departments to find out their pharmaceutical requirements, review medication history, current prescriptions and relevant clinical data. - To provide an exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation, accepted professional and ethical standards and clinical requirements
- To provide advice and support to consultants, other clinicians and patients ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines
- To advise the hospital and its departments on the safe management of medicines, ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standards
- To promote a multidisciplinary, patient focused approach to the delivery of an efficient, high quality healthcare service
- Contribute to the development of the pharmacy service and medicine management improvements across the hospital striving to achieve outstanding
- Be flexible in your role to meet the demands of the pharmacy service.
- Current GPhC registration with a minimum of 1 year post qualifying practice in Hospital settings
- Have a minimum of 2 years, post-graduation experience in a hospital environment at ward level
- Someone who is looking for the challenge of delivering a comprehensive pharmacy service within a hospital setting
- Excellent communicator as you will interact with patients across various departments to find out their pharmaceutical requirements
- Communication/organised/role model/showcase excellent patient care
Hours:- Flexible, between Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00, Saturday 08:00 – 14:00 Benefits:
