GSL Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work with our partner schools across Grantham and the surrounding areas . As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work across Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, and Specialist SEN/SEMH settings , supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Every day offers the chance to make a real difference in a young person's educational journey.

The Role:

* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
* Support pupils' academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence within the classroom.
* Adapt your support to meet the diverse needs of pupils across different educational settings.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals where required.

What We're Looking For:

* Availability to work part-time or full-time .
* Flexibility to work on a supply basis or commit to long-term/full-time placements .
* Previous experience working within an educational setting, care, support work, or a similar role is essential .
* Relevant qualifications in Education, Childcare, Health & Social Care, SEND, or a related field are desirable.
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children and young people.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
