£49.39k - £64.75k per annum
Temporary
Job summary
We are looking for a compassionate psychologist (clinical/ forensic/ counselling) to join us at our Middlesbrough MHSOP community mental health team in TEWV NHS Trust (fixed term - 10 months)

The post would suit an enthusiastic Psychologist, valuing the opportunity to work collaboratively with members of a well-established multi-disciplinary team, where psychology is a core treatment offer. A key part of this role will be using neuro psychological testing to assist in diagnostics with our organic pathway, clinical leadership skills to influence teams to embed formulations, psychological understanding and psychological interventions in both the functional and organic service lines.

As a service, we are keen to support and invest in the ongoing development of our Psychologists through CPD opportunities, so an interest in developing clinical skills across a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches is essential. The Psychologist would have the opportunity to gain experience working with a diverse population that includes male and female mental health, learning disability, autism and older adults, including those who may have experienced trauma and/ or neurological difficulties.

Main duties of the job
To be part of the leadership team with the Middlesbrough MHSOP team, to undertake neuro psych assessments, formulation, consultation and psychological interventions with older adults in a secondary care setting. To supervise trainees and other members of staff, as required, to be involved in audits, teaching and training and to work closely with other psychological professions staff in the specialty.

You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria due to the fixed term period of less than 12 months for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa, and therefore, the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role
