IQVIA Discovery Sciences seeks an Associate Technical Specialist to support laboratory sample management operations in Cambridge. The role involves operating automated platforms and supporting liquid handling protocols that enable drug discovery research.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain automated laboratory platforms including Echo, Tecan, Janus, Beckman, and Hamilton systems
- Support liquid handling protocol development and routine sample management activities
- Complete SAP transactions and laboratory documentation accurately and timely
- Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure work is performed safely and complies with quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
- Laboratory experience from academic or industry settings
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and data handling abilities
- Good IT literacy with interest in automation technologies
- Experience in pharma, biotech, or CRO environments (advantageous)
- Knowledge of liquid handling automation (advantageous)
