Class 2/7.5T Driver

Here at GXO Logistics , we are looking for a full-time, permanent  7.5T/Class 2 Multi Drop Delivery Driver,  to join our Roper Rhodes team in Hemel Hempstead , HP2 7EQ.

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week, five out of seven days, working Monday to Friday,  with the start time window between 05:00 and 06:00 . You will be responsible for delivering bathroom products to warehouses and showrooms.

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, ensuring full compliance with road traffic regulations and company procedures
• Complete 9–16 daily deliveries of bathroom products to warehouses and stores, including some manual handling and pump truck use
• Collect, process, and accurately record customer returns during delivery routes
• Carry out daily vehicle checks, maintain tachograph records, and promptly report any defects or issues
• Ensure all vehicle stock and loads are securely stored at all times

What you need to succeed at GXO

• A full UK driving licence with category LGV, HGV Class 2 License or 7.5 tonne grandfather rights
• A valid Driver Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• Excellent Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
