We are looking for experienced, customer focused, friendly trainees who have a genuine enthusiasm for pets to join our salons.
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Stylist within our Dogwood salon covering Heswall.
Responsibilities of a Trainee Stylist:
- Demonstrating a hands-on approach to train to Dogwoods high standards.
- Supporting your stylist in preparing the dogs ready for their groom.
- Responsible for the sales performance of the salon.
- Booking and managing appointments.
- Delivering high standards of customer service.
- Going ‘the extra mile’ for every customer
- Ensuring first class spa presentation by our high level of housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
- Completing a Grooming portfolio to track your training and progress. Requirements of a Trainee Stylist:
- A genuine interest in Dogwood, our vision, our products, and our values
- A confident and positive approach to handling dogs
- Willing to build strong relationships with our customers and their pets
- Excellent communication skills
- A thirst for continued training and team development
- The drive and determination to work equally well as part of a busy team and under own initiative.
